About me

I didn't seek out working with wood; it found me. My work arises from a dialogue with the wood. It gives me its shapes, its structures, its history – and I translate that into something new. Something that is not loud, not overloaded, but quiet and reduced to the essentials.

 

For me, it's not about ‘creating’ something, but rather about finding something. A harmony between the lines, the shadows and the surface. The abstract forms often arise intuitively. It's as if the wood tells me what it wants to be, and I try to listen carefully.

 

My works are not meant to be intrusive, but to breathe in the space, enrich it without dominating it, radiate calm. In the end, for me it is an exercise in reduction: what remains when everything superfluous is gone? Simplicity, monochrome clarity, organic forms and poetic depth. My works are silent narratives that remind us of the cycles of life and invite us to reconsider the transitory beauty of nature.
